bibliotek.dk is a web portal that makes it possible to search all the materials available at public libraries in Denmark as well as resources on the net. Most materials may be borrowed by sending the request from bibliotek.dk to a person’s own local library.
bibliotek.dk contains approx. 13 million items. The database is updated daily. DBC is in charge of development and operation of bibliotek.dk. bibliotek.dk is funded by central government. The Danish Agency for Libraries and Media sets the overall framework for bibliotek.dk.
