ISBN

ISBN is an international system that makes it possible to identify books uniquely by assigning a standard book number to each book, a number that must never be changed or reused for other books.

In Denmark the ISBN system is administered by the Danish ISBN Office at DBC, which has the task of ensuring that the correct standard book numbers are assigned, registered and published.
